3 community gatherings focused on connection and self-care:
Saturdays - Jan 29, Feb 19 and Mar 12 at 10:30am (after Mysore)
Session topics may include:
Nourishing Food - eating/cooking to support your health and vitality
Pre & Post-practice routines to support your practice
Foam rolling & supplemental/therapeutic stretches/exercises
Maintaining motivation and overcoming hurdles to practice
Serving others!: opportunity to participate with us in hosting the Saturday Supper for those in need at Woodland Presbyterian Church
Accountability partner - one of our experienced practitioners here to support you!
Who is this program for?
This program is for anyone who would like to explore the practice of yoga - a path toward greater awareness, a more fit mind and body, a more compassionate heart, and an increased ability to focus, listen and respond (rather than react) to the world around you. Establishing one’s self in a yoga practice can be challenging due to the hectic lives we lead. This program is designed - by folks with 20 years of experience - to provide you with the support and the tools necessary to help you navigate the challenges and make the practice stick!
You do not need to be flexible and you do not need to have experience with yoga - in fact, Mysore is an ideal way for new and experienced folks alike because we meet you where you are and start the learning process from there.

Five Asana Clinics - 30 min twice-monthly deep dives into specific aspects of the practice (with recordings available for viewing on your own time)

*Mysore is teacher-assisted self-practice - an open format approach to learning and practicing Ashtanga Yoga - a set sequence of postures practiced with emphasis on mindful movement and breath. You practice with other people and move at your own pace while receiving direct guidance from the teacher that is tailored to your body-mind. The practice evolves over time with new postures added as you’re ready. Readiness is determined by your ability to maintain steady controlled breathing and meditative focus. We tailor the postures to you and it quickly becomes YOUR practice. This may involve modification of postures, use of props and/or substituting/eliminating some postures altogether according to your goals and needs. We provide an encouraging, non-competitive, non-dogmatic, community-centric environment to support you every step of the way.
