Saturday
8:00-10:00am Mysore: Join Taylor for a unique opportunity to receive individual attention and deepen your practice in a Mysore-style setting.
12:00-2:00pm Workshop: Functional Anatomy
In this workshop, we will take a look at the construction of the body as it relates to functional anatomy and basic movements that arise in Ashtanga yoga. This course is designed for anyone wishing to gain a better understanding of the major muscle groups, skeletal structure, and ligaments that are used in our daily practice. We will pay special attention to the areas that often restrict movement and cause the most dysfunction. With increased clarity on how the body works, the practitioner is able to perform the repetitive motions of the practice in a more informed manner in order to avoid injury and sustain long-term practice.

What poses are you working on? Are you currently dealing with an injury? What are you struggling with in your practice? Come prepared with your problem area and Taylor will break it down in this fun and interactive clinic. This is an open, interactive discussion about your personal practice and workshop to work on whatever aspects of the practice that you may need clarity on. Usual suspects include: Marichasana D, Supta Kurmasana, drop backs, how to work through injuries or restricted movement, etc.
