9:00 - 10:30am: Asana Practice: Shiva and Shakti - An exploration of the divine balance of the masculine and feminine forces at play in our bodies - of which Jen has many years of personal experience. She will tap into that knowledge to artfully guide us through a blend of primary and second series that will serve as a good introduction for those new to second series, while at the same time offer insights for those that are well versed.
10:30 - 11:00am: Pranayama & Meditation - Jen will use this time to carry forward the efforts we cultivate through the asana practice to bring them further inward to the contemplative techniques that breath work and seated practice provide.
11:00 - noon: Breakfast/Lunch Break: During this hour we’ll keep the Zoom room open and you may come and go as you please and feel free to gather together to share stories as you nourish your bodies (light, vegetarian options suggested).
noon - 1:45pm: Yoga Philosophy Workshop: Who Am I? Tat Twam Asi (I AM THAT)
Yoga can be practiced in so many ways -- it can take on a myriad of forms. With a little understanding of our primordial origins, it quickly becomes clear just why this is so.
In this workshop Cory will guide you through an exploration of the most basic components of existence (gunas, bhutas and tanmatras) and how we may integrate this knowledge into our practice and lives. We will do so to support steadiness and growth in this time of great uncertainty and change.
This experience will include chanting, pratyahara, mantra meditation along with a yoga talk and discussion.
1:45 - 2pm: Wrap up Chat/Q&A
